The Darksaber is a unique ancient lightsaber created by Tarre Vizsla, the first Mandalorian ever inducted into the Jedi Order. Unlike traditional lightsabers, it features a flat, black blade with a white crackling edge, symbolizing its singular nature and cultural importance.
 
After Tarre Vizsla’s death, the Darksaber was reclaimed by House Vizsla and became a symbol of leadership and rightful rule over Mandalore. During The Clone Wars, it is wielded by Pre Vizsla, leader of Death Watch, who uses it to challenge both the Jedi and Mandalorian pacifists. Following his defeat by Darth Maul, the Darksaber passes through conquest, reinforcing the Mandalorian belief that power and authority are earned through combat.
 
In The Clone Wars, the Darksaber represents more than a weapon—it is a political and cultural icon, embodying Mandalorian honor, conflict, and the struggle for control during a fractured era.
