Ezra Bridger’s first lightsaber was a unique, improvised weapon built during his early training under Kanan Jarrus. Lacking formal resources, Ezra constructed a hybrid lightsaber–blaster, combining a blue lightsaber blade with a built-in stun blaster. This unconventional design reflected Ezra’s ingenuity, street-smarts, and the Rebels’ constant need to adapt.
The weapon symbolized Ezra’s transition from Lothal street orphan to Jedi apprentice. As Ezra matured and embraced Jedi discipline, he ultimately abandoned this saber in favor of a more traditional design, marking his growth from survival-driven improvisation to purposeful Jedi identity.
