The Grand Inquisitor’s lightsaber is a distinctive double-bladed, spinning weapon created during the early reign of the Empire. Designed by the Inquisitorius, it reflects the dark side philosophy of intimidation, control, and psychological dominance rather than traditional Sith honor.
Originally a former Jedi Temple Guard, the Grand Inquisitor was corrupted by Darth Vader and repurposed as a hunter of surviving Jedi. His lightsaber’s circular hilt houses twin red blades powered by corrupted kyber crystals, allowing rapid rotation for offense, defense, and fear-inducing spectacle. More than a tool of combat, the weapon symbolizes the fall of the Jedi protectors and the Empire’s method of twisting Jedi traditions into instruments of oppression.
