Cal Kestis was a Force-sensitive human male who became a Jedi Knight during the reign of the Galactic Empire. As one of the few Jedi who survived the purge that all but destroyed the Jedi Order, Kestis lived in seclusion for years until a confrontation with the Inquisitor compelled him to openly resist the Empire's rule. Hunted across the galaxy by the Empire's Jedi hunters, Kestis embraced his connection to the Force once more, having decided to restore the Jedi Order.
After Cal's time on Bogano, his force presence remained. The presence of his power embodied itself into the planet and the rarest of kyber crystals started to form, although sightings are extremely rare and usually believed to just be Myth. The crystals appearing across the Planet have been described as Blue and Orange, and if legend is to be believed, the blade produced is determined by the accessories your hilt may have. Yellow could be Orange, and Dark Blue could be Teal.
