Exegol (or Ixigul) once had a fertile environment, until the Sith established their presence there and laid waste to the planet just as they did with Korriban. It was said that before the Sith Presence on Exegol, the planet was strong with the force, the dark side and the light. Before the Sith took over it was a location that many Jedi would visitor during the gathering, which they later did on Ilum. When the Jedi felt the darkness taking over the planet, they decided to leave and swore never to return. Once word got out that the planet was soon to be forbidden and removed from Jedi archives, one Kyber miner made a journey to the planet to salvage what he could of the Crystals not yet bled by the Sith. The kybers were stored in a crate which was hidden by that miner thousands of years ago and believed to have been lost.... Until now!
